Registration Policy

- The form is designed for one registrant or one registrant plus administrator. Please photocopy for additional registrants.

- Membership discounts for both AASL and ALA are based on individual memberships only.

- If your personal membership cannot be verified by AASL, you will be charged the appropriate non-member fee.

- Early Bird Registration must be postmarked on or before August 4, 2011. Advance Registration must be postmarked on or before September 29, 2011. All forms postmarked after September 29, 2011 will be processed at the Late/Onsite rate.

- Please be sure to fill out 6. Fees and Payment, Summary of Fees. – For your registration to be processed, payment must accompany the form.

- You may mail, fax, or register online at www.aasl11.org. AASL does not accept phone registrations. Send forms to:

- Basic registration includes general sessions, concurrent sessions, exhibits, the Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, AASL National Conference Closing Celebration and the Exploratorium.

- You cannot receive the AASL rate at the hotels listed on the registration form until you have registered for the conference. You may register for the conference and reserve your room simultaneously using the enclosed registration form or via online.

- After registering, you may make changes or purchase additional items, or add a hotel reservation by logging into the online system provided by Experient. Instructions for this process can be found in your registration confirmation e-mail.

- You may pay for your registration by check, but all hotel reservations require a credit card guarantee, so please be sure to include your credit card (valid through December 2011) in your registration information.

- Group discount is for five (5) or more AASL individual members from the same district. Must submit all forms together to qualify for group rate. This offer is not available online. The cost is per person.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Written cancellation of conference, preconference, tour and meal function registration must be received by September 29, 2011.  Cancellations received by September 29, 2011 will be charged a handling fee of $50.  If you cancel a conference add-on prior to September 29, 2011, but do not cancel your registration, you will not be assessed a fee.  AASL does not accept phone cancellations.  AASL will not issue any refunds after September 29, 2011.  Refunds will be processed 4-6 weeks from date of cancellation request.  AASL reserves the right to cancel any part of the National Conference if there is insufficient registration or for other reasons. Neither ALA nor AASL are responsible for cancellation charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies, or other losses incurred due to cancellation of programs.
